UK PHD Studentship in recycling and reinvention in reinformation 2022/2023

Recycling and reinvention in Reformation England is the subject of an international P.h.D. studentship offered by the University of Exeter. This program includes maintenance funding in addition to full tuition coverage.

Only students who can demonstrate promise for this research opportunity, both domestic and foreign, are eligible for the studentship.

Scholarship Benefits

All applicants from the EU, the UK, and other countries are eligible for this studentship, which offers both full tuition coverage and a maintenance allowance. Exeter University will cover the difference between the UK rate tuition and the annual maintenance allowance at the current Research Council rank, which together total up to £16,062 per year.

Eligibility Criteria

You must have a Master's degree at Merit level or international equivalent, providing research preparation in topics directly related to this project, as well as a 2:1 Honors degree or its international equivalent in history, history of art & visual culture, or a program that includes these disciplines as main components. You must also currently be pursuing this degree.

If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate your ability and meet the English language requirements.

  1. A complete CV;
  2. A covering letter;
  3. A research proposal that goes along with the project description and define how you would approach this with a maximum of 1,000 words;
  4. A writing sample (and/or portfolio) 2,500 words at maximum – please add this sample with the previous document of your research proposal since it is not possible to submit separate documents in this section;
  5. Two academic referees;
  6. Proof of your English language degree of skill, in case it was recognized;
  7. Certified transcripts of your top academic qualification will be requested too.

Every document the candidate submits must be in English, and academic credentials must also be presented with verified translations.
